Dear Blueberry,
I often wonder what it's like in there, all snug as a bug in a rug. Can you hear the things going on around you? It can sure be noisy out here! What does Mommy sound like? Well I know what she sounds like I mean from in there silly. What do I sound like? I've learnt that you pick up on bass tones, and I have a pretty deep low end. It's very dark in there no doubt, can you see yet? Is there even anything to see? What do you do to pass the time? Play with your feet or suck your thumb? Do you even know what thumbs are? Do you float around to pass the time? Mommy says you've been doing laps lately, it makes her feel funny inside!
It must be very cozy in there, peaceful, nothing to worry about. Eating, sleeping, relaxing, must be nice. Things out here keep Daddy very busy! Do you dream when you're sleeping? If so, what do you dream about? I dream about You and Mommy! I don't even know what you are yet! Soon though. My little girl? My little boy? I'll love you the same either way. I thought I felt you the other day, but I'm not certain. Did you feel me? You should build up your strength, so Mommy and I know when you want our attention. Don't tell Mommy, but kick harder next time! She won't mind!
I can hear you every now and again! I've been able to for awhile now. Sounds like sloshing and gurgling, kind of like after Daddy eats a big meal! Fun Stuff! Life in there must be so much different than life out here. So many things you won't understand, but that's okay, Daddy doesn't understand a lot of things either! We'll figure it out together, you'll see! Everybody is looking forward to meeting you. You already have a Grandma, and a Memere, and two Grandpas, lucky you! They can't wait to see you. You don't know it yet but you already have a new best friend, it's another little baby named Trigger, she's Daddy's cat! She likes to cuddle near you and purr herself to sleep. Maybe you can hear her! You'll like her. I know she likes you, we all do! I can't wait to hold you in my arms, my little blueberry! I'll see you soon!
